Stephen Keshi Football and Vocational Training Centre (SKFVTC) gets Legal Backing as CAC Release Certificate
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Stephen Keshi Football and Vocational Training Centre (SKFVTC) Ex- footballer and former President of Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association (PENGASSAN), Dr Brown Ogbeifun has confirmed the receipt of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) certificate of registration of SKFVTC with great delight and enthusiasm
The SKFVTC an initiative of the Nigeria Players Union NANPF, situated in heart of the Nigeria Footballers Village, behind Ekewan Barrack Benin, occupying a land mass of 1,000FT by 1,000FT, was graciously donated to the Nigeria Players Union by HRH, Edun Akenzua, the Enogie of Obazuwa, a former Nigeria Player in 2016, to immortalise the legacies and contributions of Stephen keshi to the overall development of African Football
The SKFVTC is designed amongst other objective, to Groom, Nurture, and Mentor to Stardom, the best football legs in Nigeria and Africa to become better Schooled Professionals contributing to the overall development of the game.
The Chairman of the BOT and others members which include: the President of the union, Tijani Babangida, (Vice Chairman), Comrade Bobbio Kiagama, Mutiu Adepoju, Comptroller Jibo Bello, Prof Ken Anugweje, David Aigbovo , Ifeanyi Nweke (Stephen Keshi’s Nephew) and Austin Popo
- will serve as authority of the Academy
- Shape the mission and vision of the academy
- Provide proper financial oversight
- Ensure legal and ethical integrity
- Oversee policy and operational guidelines
- Identify individuals for key leadership positions amongst others
